There are only few countries in this world, where so many interesting and unique things are offered to a visitor:

Grandiose mountains eight thousand-meter Peaks in the    Karakorum, Himalaya and Hindukusch.
Lovely mountain plateaus, homes of the people, who mostly live there with their old tradition
Manifold culture wether in Taxila, Lahore or at the Indus
Vast deserted beaches in the South
Amiable people, who are helpful and friendly with the visitors

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan occupies about 880000-sq. km. The land is stretching from the Arabian Sea to the high mountains of Central Asia and from the rough mountain and desert region in the West to the Indus basin, the outskirts of the desert Thar to the Five streamland Punjab in the East. Pakistans`s neighbors are Iran in the West, Afghanistan in the Northwest, China in the Northeast and India in the East. The South is open towards the Arabian Sea.

The plain on both sides of the Indus together with its tributaries is the heart of Pakistan, where most of its people live and most of its food grown. It constitutes about a third of the country. The around 3200 Km long Indus mouths to the big Delta into the Arabian Sea. Historically this is one of the most ancient land known to man.

In the Northern Area the most famous mountain ranges meet the Himalayas the Karakorum and the Hindukusch. Here you can find five of the 14 highest Peaks of the world. K2, Nanga Parbat, Hidden Peak Broad Peak and Gasherbrum. A long list of seven thousand-Meter Peaks could be written and some of them even are unclimbed. Between the icy Peaks are fertile mountain valleys like oasis with luxurious vegetation, home of the Pakistani Mountain people. From the western Hindukusch down through the tribal lands of the NWFP and the eastern Baluchistan runs a range of dry, scrubby 1500 to 2500 meter mountains called the Suleiman Range in the NWFP and the Kirthar Range in Baluchistan. The regions`most famous feature is the Kyber Pass. We invite you cordially to discover the wonders of Pakistan with the team of Trango Adventures.
